Sliva Communications

My name is Veronica Sliva, I'm a professional journalist who specializes in travel, gardening, lifestyle and business topics. My work appears in a variety of magazines, newspapers and on the Web. I write a blog about my gardening world at www.gardenersworld.ca.

Before starting Sliva Communications I spent many years in the corporate world as a course developer, trainer, and technical writer. I have a post graduate diploma in Technical Communications and I am CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer.

I enjoy speaking to groups and offer a variety of presentations on gardening topics and travel destinations.

As a regular guest on Rogers Cable Television's program, "Daytime", I am the gardening expert and present travel segments as the "Armchair Traveller".

I am the National (Canada and International) Director for the Garden Writers Association, a Past  President of the Brooklin Horticultural Society and a member of the North American Travel Journalists Association.
